Clara is an unusual woman, who does common things. But she does it meek and big for she is meek and big. In the psychiatric hospital room where his Robert is hospitalized, Clara tries to cheer up, concealing the embarrassment you feel when visiting a dear one in an ill condition. She sits by his bedside, talks to him, feeds him, it is the food she prepared with her own hands; she now remembers her love for him, the passion episodes, and she is more and more confident that Robert , his beloved composer, will be back in shape. The show bears the name of Clara and Robert Schumann; in Clara’s words we may read the story of human adventure, of destined meeting between two people, where only the voice of music keeps alive the presence/absence of a now silent Robert.
