Pavel Šporcl is known all over the world for his extraordinary ability, his enduring effort to help a wider audience familiarize with the so-called ‘educated’ music, his love for the music culture of his country and his iconic blue violin which in a way summarizes all these aspects. “Since many years I am trying to open the borders of classic music to a wider audience – said the musician – and I am doing this through the objects that are around us. For this reason I asked the best violin maker of the Czech republic to make an instrument for the new millennium. A blue violin which represents a new approach to tradition, a symbol of rebellion against rules and conventions”.
Šporcl at the Festival delle Nazioni introduces his gypsy ensemble of chamber music and classic orchestra to let us know the music soul of his beloved country.
